Information sought over Tullamarine break-in

Police are appealing for public assistance after a man broke into a home in Tullamarine on Thursday, February 17.

It is understood the unknown man forced his way into the residence on Waratah Avenue about 2.45pm.

The man entered a room where a female occupant of the house was located before saying “sorry” and running away from the scene empty-handed.

He is perceived to be Caucasian, about 40 to 50 years old about 182 centimetres tall with short grey/white hair.

The man was wearing a white T-shirt with large Under Armour logo on the front, a grey cap, black pants and black shoes.
