Epping continues to keep the pressure on the top two sides in the Diamond Valley Cricket Association Barclay Shield.

Sitting third with two rounds to go, the Pingers are just six points behind the top two sides.

On Saturday, the Pingers accounted for Rosanna.

The Pingers made 4-181 from their overs, with Thomas Emmins top scoring with 50.

Rosanna never seemed likely in the run chase, losing frequent wickets.

The side finished 9-134 with only 10 batters having a bat.

Shaun Barker was the pick of the bowlers for the Pingers, taking 4-34.

In the Money Shield, the race for finals spots is well and truly alive, with seven teams still in the mix.

On Saturday, Bundoora United came out on top in the battle of the top two sides.

The Bulldogs made 5-161 from their overs with Mathew Ross top scoring with 79 not out.

Rosebank got off to a solid start and were 0-54 in reply. Four quick wickets turned the game, with Rosebank unable to recover.

It was bowled out for 146. Glen Turner took 3-20 for the Bulldogs.

The win moves the Bulldogs ahead of Rosebank to top of the ladder.

Bundoora Park suffered an upset loss to Eltham. Eltham made 6-162 before bowling the Thunderbolts out for 147.

Lalor Stars moved back into the top four with a win against Montmorency.

The Stars bowled Montmorency out for 111, before making the runs two wickets down. David Worthington top scored with 73 as the Stars made 2-113.

In other results, Mernda beat Bundoora to dint the Bulls finals hopes, while Old Paradians was too good for Plenty.
