FFV: Hume United set to be relegated

Hume United’s hopes of avoiding relegation in FFV state league 3
north-west were dashed on Saturday with a 4-1 loss against Melbourne
University.

With only two rounds to play United is now stuck in the bottom two with 13 points, behind Banyule City in 10th place with 21.

In state 4 north, Whittlesea United’s push for the top two continued with a 2-1 win against top team Heidelberg Stars.

The Stars (42 points) are still well clear on top from Old Carey (38) with Whittlesea United third on 35 points.
