Grammar school’s cash windfall

Hume Anglican Grammar at Mickleham has been granted $725,000 by the federal government to complete the fifth stage of its school’s building program. The funding will allow construction of a modular building for arts and music classes. The school’s stage 4 building, four senior school classrooms, a VCE centre and staff area, will be officially opened in September. Meanwhile, middle and senior students are busy rehearsing for the school production of Grease, which hits the stage on Thursday, Friday and Saturday next week. www.trybooking.com/FLJZ
