Bands do battle

The FreeZA Push Start Battle of the Bands play-off is on Saturday evening, August 30. Headline act at the Craigieburn Youth Centre will be Fail the Abstract. The winner heads to a ‘Battle’ regional final. The annual event has young bands competing for prizes, including studio recording time and a gig at the Push Over Music Festival. It’s a supervised drug, alcohol and smoke-free event. Entry $5.
