A man has been charged with arson over a grass fire in a reserve in Fawkner.
The 40-year-old Fawkner man was arrested on Tuesday evening in relation to a fire that started between Lorne Street and Merri Creek, Fawkner, about 1.30pm on Sunday.
The man has been charged with arson, intentionally engaging in conduct endangering property and recklessly engaging in conduct endangering property.
He has been bailed, and is expected to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
