Attwood grandmother wins big

An Attwood grandmother became a multimillionaire over the weekend, after winning $3 million in the TattsLotto draw.

When her division one win was confirmed by a call from The Lott on Saturday 31 January , she said could not believe it.

“I thought it was a scam, I only ever win $15,” she said.

“I had no idea – none whatsoever, thank you very much, oh my god!”

The grandmother has won a total of $3,085,971.02, while the second division-one ticket was won by a10-person group syndicate in Prahran.

The Attwood woman said she has always thought about what she would do if she ever won big, but is overwhelmed now it is a reality.

“My mind is just spinning everywhere!”

She said she hopes to surprise her husband with his dream car.

“He has always wanted a BMW and I’d like to buy him that dream BMW.”

She also said she is a proud mother and grandmother, and hopes to support them all.

“My greatest joy in life is being a grandmother, and I’d love to help them all.”

The woman bought her ticket online via the The Lott website.

The winning numbers on 31 January were 20, 45, 42, 9, 34 and 33, while the supplementary numbers were 29 and 7.
