Showcasing the work of artists living, working or learning in the Darebin municipality, the Darebin Art Show exhibition features contemporary visual arts and crafts of varying disciplines and mediums. Decorate the halls

Get the children creating their own Christmas decorations at this arts and crafts event. The free session will also include a visit from a grouchy Christmas favourite, the Grinch. On Tuesday, December 10, from 10am-1pm, outside Kmart, at Plenty Valley Westfield, 415 McDonalds Road, Mill Park.

In the spirit

A Christmas Morning is a chance to bring along children and celebrate the spirit of the festive season with the St Francis School Choir. There will be a visit from Santa. On Monday, December 9, from 11am, at Mill Park library, 394 Plenty Road, Mill Park.

Restore your waistline

If the festive season wreaks havoc on your waistline, then this session is for you. Hosted by Kate Wilkinson, of Plenty Valley Community Health, the free event will teach you how to maintain a healthy lifestyle and still be able to attend those Christmas parties.
