A shop in Whittlesea went up in flames on Tuesday morning.
A small building fire broke out on Church Street, Whittlesea about 2.20am.
Firefighters arrived swiftly onto the scene and were able to have everything under control within an hour.
The cause of the fire is not yet known, but the site was roped off and visited by police this morning.
Star Weekly understands the fire to have been the Whittlesea Tobacco Store.
