The Hume Freeway will be closed between Cooper Street and the Hume Highway overnight from 8pm, Thursday February 25 to 5am, Friday February 26 as part of Victoria’s Big Build.
The full weekend, from 8pm Friday, February 26 to 5am Monday, March 1, will see the same section of road closed.
Beams are being installed to widen O’Herns Road bridge over the Hume Freeway.
Detours will be in place via the Hume Highway, Cooper Street, and the M80 Ring Road to “maintain connectivity for road users”.
Residents are encouraged to plan journeys in advance and allow extra travel time.
