Three teens charged in relation to alleged stabbing

Police have arrested three teens following an alleged stabbing at a Broadmeadows supermarket earlier this month.

Police were called to the Pascoe Vale Road store after reports of a brawl between 10-15 youths about 6.20pm on Thursday, July 15.

A 16-year-old Dallas boy was found with wounds to the upper body and was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

His condition has improved and is no longer life-threatening, according to police.

Two Coolaroo males aged 15 and 18 years were arrested on Monday and are expected to be charged on summons in relation to the incident.

An 18-year-old Jacana man was arrested yesterday and charged with intentionally causing serious injury in circumstances of gross violence, recklessly causing serious injury in circumstances of gross violence, affray and other related offences.

He appeared at Melbourne Magistrates Court and has been remanded in custody.

A 16-year-old Broadmeadows boy was charged in relation to the alleged stabbing on Monday, July 19.
