Three men shot at Westmeadows

Three men are in hospital following a shooting in Westmeadows on Sunday night.

Emergency services were called to a house in Erinbank Crescent about 11.40pm after reports that three people had been shot.

On arrival, police found three men suffering non-life threatening gunshot wounds.

The men, a 26-year-old, a 28-year-old and a 37-year-old, were taken to hospital.

Police have been told that two men arrived at the house and were involved in an altercation with the three men before shots were fired.

They left shortly after in a dark sedan.

Armed Crime Squad detectives are investigating.

The incident is the latest in a spate of shootings in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, with at least 20 shootings reported since July 2015.
