Register for virtual open day

Aspiring students will be able to explore campuses and speak to course and career experts from the comforts of home, as Kangan Institute’s open day moves online.

The open day will feature 3D tours of campuses and facilities, as well as one-on-one video chats with course and career advisors, and information sessions about student life, support services and pathways.

Kangan Institute’s chief industry engagement and education delivery officer Arron Wood said hosting the event online ensures everyone has an opportunity to explore educational options at TAFE.

“Education does not stop during these uncertain times and is vital as we seek to build skills in growth industries to rebuild our economy post COVID,” he said.

Kangan Institute’s virtual open day aims to ensure anyone who wants to learn can easily log on and explore our campuses, talk to experts and learn about courses, training pathways, Free TAFE, scholarships and more.

“It’s an interactive experience and the perfect opportunity for aspiring learners to get all their questions answered.”

More than 200 courses are available at Kangan Institute’s campuses in Broadmeadows, Docklands, Cremorne, Moonee Ponds and Essendon.

The virtual open day provides students with a chance to learn about study options from foundational to pre-vocational, certificate, diploma and advanced diploma levels. Courses range from automotive, construction and industrial, through to health and community services, professional and creative industries, and food and fibre disciplines.

Kangan Institute’s virtual open day is on Wednesday, September 15, from 4-8pm.
