Melbourne Market added to COVID exposure sites

A section of the Melbourne Market has been identified as a tier one COVID-19 exposure site, while two Hume venues have been declared as tier two sites.

Last night, the Department of Health added Melbourne Market, warehouse 4.1 at 55 Produce Drive, Epping to its exposure list.

The department said a case attended the site on August 20 between 1.30-10.30am, August 21 between 3.10-9.50am and August 22 between 4.34-8.18am.

Anyone who visited the site at those times must get tested and quarantine for 14 days from exposure.

The department also identified Green Apples Fruit and Veg, Somerton Road, Roxburgh Park as a tier two exposure site on August 21 between noon-1pm.

Lion Car and Truck Rental, Hume Highway, Somerton, has also been listed as a tier two site on August 19 between 9.40-10.25am.

Anyone who visited either site at those time must get tested and isolate until they receive a negative test result.
