Police are appealing for dash cam footage after a Thomastown man was allegedly involved in two hit-run collisions in the northern suburbs last week.
Police allege a red Honda Accord sedan was seen being driven erratically on Thursday, October, 11 across a number of suburbs including Preston, Reservoir, Thomastown and Craigieburn.
The car, which was extensively damaged, was also allegedly involved in two hit-run collisions – at the corner of Keon Parade and High Street in Thomastown and in the vicinity of a shopping centre on Craigieburn Road, Craigieburn.
A 23-year-old man was arrested in Oaklands Junction. He has been charged with a number of offences including reckless conduct endangering life, driving in a dangerous manner, failing to stop for police and after an accident, unlicensed driving and cannabis possession.
He was remanded to face Heidelberg magistrates court on October 17.
Anyone who witnessed the incidents or who may have dash cam footage taken between 10.40am and 1.40pm is being urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
