Pedestrian dies after Thomastown collision

A woman has died after being struck by a truck in Thomastown earlier this month.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Latitude Boulevard and Heyington Avenue about 7.45pm on Wednesday, August 13.

The 26-year-old Hillside woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and died overnight.

The truck driver was initially unaware of the collision but was flagged down by passers-by and stopped to assist.

Greensborough highway patrol officers are continuing to investigate the collision.
