Melbourne Victory players visit Northern Hospital

A visit to Northern Hospital by Melbourne Victory players has helped brighten the day of the hospital’s littlest patients.

Players Andrew Nabbout and Elvis Kamsoba visited the children’s ward and emergency department last week, taking time to pose for photographs and sign autographs with the young patients.

Children’s ward nurse unit manager Courtney Lowry said the visit provided the children with early Christmas cheer.

“It’s lovely to see the kids’ excitement and smiles on their faces which makes their hospital stay that little bit easier,” she said.

“We even had one boy not wanting to be discharged home just so he could meet the players.”
