Knowing how to cook easy, cheap and healthy meals is worth its weight in gold.

Hume council has partnered with OzHarvest to bring their nutrition education skills training (NEST) program to Broadmeadows, and it’s free.

On Friday, July 22, from 10am to 1pm at Broadmeadows Community Hub, you can learn some great life skills in a fun and supportive environment from qualified dieticians and nutritionists.

The program will include nutrition activities, practical cooking demonstration and a shared meal, and participants will be given NEST recipes and resources to take home.

Everyone over the age of 16 attending the event must be fully vaccinated, and proof of vaccination can be shown with:

• A COVID-19 digital certificate

• A printed copy of COVID-19 digital certificate

• A printed copy of Immunisation history statement
