Police have seized a number of items from a Hells Angels Outlaw Motor Cycle Gang (OMCG) clubhouse in Thomastown as part of an investigation into the suspicious disappearance of Adelaide man Kerry Giakoumis.

The 29-year-old was last seen at the Hells Angels clubhouse on Lipton Drive, Thomastown, in the early hours of Wednesday, June 10, 2020.

Mr Giakoumis had travelled from Adelaide to Melbourne on Friday, June 5, 2020, with two associates who police believe are members of the OMCG.

Mr Giakoumis had told family that he intended to work in Victoria as a concreter.

Police understand Mr Giakoumis was not a patched member of the Hells Angels OMCG.

Police said Mr Giakoumis’ family reported him as missing after he failed to board a flight to South Australia on August 10, 2020, and his contact with them ceased.

Detectives said they believe it is likely some kind of dispute had taken place on the night Mr Giakoumis was last seen.

In June last year, detectives from the Homicide Squad and Echo Taskforce executed warrants at several properties including the Thomastown clubhouse.

Earlier this month, police searched the Jacksons Creek area in Diggers Rest for Mr Giakoumis.

A number of public appeals have also been made since Mr Giakoumis’ disappearance last year and investigators are again asking for anyone with information to come forward.

Detectives are particularly keen to speak to anyone who has information about what happened at the clubhouse or any other location in the early hours of June 10 last year.

They would also like to hear from anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the Jackson’s Creek area around the time Mr Giakoumis went missing.

Police have released a new image of a man they are trying to identify as part of this appeal.

This man was seen in a group of men who were in company with Mr Giakoumis on the night of his disappearance.

Investigators are also re-releasing a number of images of Mr Giakoumis.

Anyone with information about Mr Giakoumis’ disappearance is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
