House fire in Greenvale

Firefighters attended a house fire in Greenvale on Monday morning.

Fire Rescue Victoria attended the Clockwise Street property just after 10am.

The fire involved two townhouses under construction with fire spreading into the roof spaces of the properties.

Firefighters donned breathing apparatus to attack the fire internally and brought the fire under control 40 minutes.

All construction workers had safely evacuated the townhouses, no injuries reported.

It has not yet been established what caused the fire.
