Family fun at park open day

Explore new trails, views and parkland while enjoying a full day of festivities at the bunjil nganga parkland open day.

This free event in February will feature live music and roving performers throughout the parklands, and an array of family-friendly activities.

There will be food trucks and picnic spaces available, as well as kids facepainting and art and sustainability activities.

First Nations performances, cultural workshops and art displays will light up the parkland’s aboriginal gathering place.

A free shuttle bus will help you travel between events and activities from the Aboriginal gathering place to the granite hills major community park.

Or you can take the trail between the activities and enjoy stunning views from the top of the hill across the surrounding landscape.

Mark Sunday 15 February in your calendars and head to the parkland at 105 Hunters Road, South Morang.

Activities will run from 10am-3pm in the community park, and 12pm-3pm in the aboriginal gathering place.
