Dallas man facing dangerous driving charges

Police have arrested a Dallas man for reckless driving in Broadmeadows over the weekend.

A 23-year-old Dallas man has been charged with 12 offences over an alleged series of dangerous driving incidents in Broadmeadows.

Police received numerous reports about a black Nissan utility driving on the wrong side of Pascoe Vale Road about 1.20pm on Saturday, May 21.

Police allege the ute driver continued to drive recklessly and was involved in a hit-run collision at the intersection of the Hume Highway and Somerset Road, Campbellfield about 2.05pm.

A man was arrested in King Street, Dallas, late Saturday afternoon, police said.

No one was injured during the incidents.

The man was charged with 12 offences, including reckless conduct endangering life, reckless conduct endangering serious injury, driving in a manner dangerous, traffic and bail offences.

He was remanded to appear at Broadmeadows Magistrates Court on Monday, May 23.
