Appeal for witnesses to South Morang hoon driving

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following reports of hoon driving in Darius Terrace, South Morang.

Frustrated residents have contacted Mernda police about the issue, which has left numerous burn out marks on the road.

In a statement, police said the driving was not only dangerous to the community, but to the drivers involved as well.

“Police will not be tolerate this anti-social behaviour,” the statement on the Eyewatch Whittlesea Police Service Area Facebook page said.

“Its too late to apologise when you have injured someone due to reckless driving.”

Police are appealing for witnesses and CCTV footage on or about February 13.
