Police are appealing for information as part of an investigation into an alleged stabbing in Roxburgh Park earlier this month.
Police said the incident occurred on Somerton Road, just before the Pascoe Vale Road intersection just 8.10pm on February 10.
According to police, a man exited a while van while another man exited his vehicle. The first man is alleged to have stabbed the second man in the chest and neck sveral times.
Police said the injured man required surgery.
Police have arrested and charged a man over the incident but are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage to come forward.
