As Whittlesea’s education and training community gets ready for its youth employment fair this Thursday, Craigieburn has wrapped up another successful education options expo.
The Craigieburn expo, which displayed ways of educating from pre-school to adult education options, helped launch this year’s Education for the 3064 Community booklet, copies of which are still available from the council office, leisure centre and library.
This week’s youth employment opportunities fair at Plenty Ranges Arts and Convention Centre, South Morang, will position local employers alongside training organisations, education providers and government and community agencies.
The fair is aimed at helping young people who are seeking further education opportunities, apprenticeships, traineeships and employment. It will also showcase school-based apprenticeships and traineeships for secondary students, parents and teachers.
