Arrests made after police car chase ends in Broadmeadows

Police have appealed for public assistance after a car chase on Saturday morning that started in Glenroy and ended in Broadmeadows shortly afterwards.

The chase began when police attempted to pull over a silver VK Commodore station wagon, allegedly mounted with stolen plates, on Widford Street around 8am.

A short pursuit then took place through Glenroy and Jacana for about three minutes before the car was dumped in Lorica Avenue in Broadmeadows.

The three occupants were then apprehended by local police and an Air Wing crew.

A 20-year-old Glenroy man and two 23-year-old Roxburgh Park men were arrested and released pending further enquiries.

Police urge anyone who may have information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or visit www.crimestoppers.com.au
