An unlicensed learner driver from Broadmeadows who was caught drink driving and speeding in an unregistered vehicle on the Calder Freeway near Gisborne is expected to face a string of charges.
Police caught the man, 37, travelling in a Holden sedan at 162km/h in a 110 zone about 4.20pm on February 20.
The man returned a positive breath test but refused to go with police for a formal test at the station.
