Whittlesea’s First Impressions youth theatre will put 12 young people on stage to answer questions they’ve never been asked but probably have always wanted to answer. The show is on Friday, July 25, and Saturday, July 26 at 7.30pm at Epping Memorial Hall, 827 High Street. Reservations 9217 2174.

A place to have fun

If dancing, meeting new people and having fun is your idea of a good time, Play On Dance is the place to be. The free 10-week program for secondary age students who have moved to Australia in the past 10 years is at Westfield Plenty Valley Edge, Shop MM1, 415 McDonald Road, Mill Park from 4-6pm every Tuesday, from July 22 to September 23. Food under the griller

Eat and tell the story

Hume’s Meet+Eat documentary of short films releases its latest multicultural culinary story-telling episode this week. Developed by Curious Works and supported by Hume council, VicHealth and the Scanlon Foundation, it uses the act of sharing a meal to get people of different backgrounds to tell their stories.
