Greenvale Lakes: Witnesses sought to fight outside school

An altercation between two men outside a Greenvale Lakes school late last month is being investigated by Craigieburn police.

Police believe the victim, a 45-year-old Meadow Heights man, stopped his vehicle outside the school in Lysterfield Drive when a second vehicle stopped in front of him about 2.45pm on  June 23.

The driver of the second vehicle, which is believed to be a silver station wagon, then got out of his car and approached the victim, punching him through the open window of the car.

An altercation then took place between the two men before a number of bystanders helped break the two up.

Police would like to speak to any witnesses to this incident.

The driver of the second vehicle is said to be of Southern European appearance, aged 40-50 years, with a stocky build and brown, short balding hair.

He was wearing black pants and a black jumper.
