Girl power is taking on one of the hardest issues of womanhood – breast cancer. Craigieburn youth centre’s Go Girls group hosted an afternoon tea last week to help fund the Breast Cancer Foundation’s 800 Women Campaign. The campaign is driving home the message that almost 800 Australian women under 40 are diagnosed with this deadly disease each year. Go Girls has workshopped health messages throughout the last school term, using group time for members to open up conversations about how breast cancer has touched their own families and what sufferers go through. … Helen Grimaux
