CFA raises funds for Good Friday Appeal

The CFA did its part on Good Friday to help raise funds for a great cause.

A team including 18 volunteers from Yarrambat CFA, five from Plenty CFA and four from CFA District 14 Headquarters Brigade East took to Ironbark and Yan Yean Roads on Good Friday to collect donations for the Good Friday Appeal.

Across the day, they raised a total of 9,414.30, with further online donations to be added to the count.

Yarrambat CFA has been running collections with the support of neighbouring brigades since 2014, and has raised an estimated $72,000 for the Royal Children’s Hospital in that time.
