A house was on fire on Sunday night in Meadow Heights.
Fire crews received calls the Gunbower Crescent property was alight at 7.34pm.
A family of five self-evacuated, but a 77-year-old male suffered smoke inhalation and was transported to hospital.
The fire was under control in 50 minutes.
Significant damage has occurred to the rear of the single storey brick and tile house.
A building surveyor will be attending to check the integrity of the structure.
The fire was deemed suspicious and police are investigating.
