Hume-made iBuild wins big

Former Hume Business of the Year iBuild Building Solutions has been named one of the winners of the Telstra Best of Business Awards, taking out the award for Outstanding Growth.

The awards celebrate the small and medium-sized businesses and people who are building Australia.

iBuild Building Solutions specialises in the design, manufacturing, and delivery of high-quality flat pack homes and prefabricated buildings.

With a focus on providing sustainable and affordable living solutions, its products include kit homes, granny flats, modular buildings, and steel structure, a large portion of which is manufactured in its Campbellfield factory.

Managing director and co-founder Jackson Yin said it was a fantastic honour to receive the award for various aspects.

“This award is amazing for all areas of our business,” he said. “An accolade such as this builds trust with our customers which really helps our growth.

“It’s big for our suppliers too, as a small business it can be hard to compete with their bigger clients but this award helps our reputation and they’ll continue to look after us now.

“Lastly, it has been a huge morale booster for our employees. It shows them that their hard work has been recognised, and the boost in morale allows us to retain our talent and attract more.”

The company employs more than 20 local residents.
