The state government has fast-tracked shovel ready construction projects across Victoria, such as the development of the Ramsay Private Hospital in Epping.
Located at 215 Cooper Street, Epping, the $200 million investment will provide hospital beds and affordable housing in Melbourne’s north.
The project will form part of the government’s $9.2 billion injection in the construction industry over the last two years.
More than $4.2 billion in new projects have received fast-tracked approval through facilitation programs since March 2020.
Construction on the private hospital in Epping began earlier this year with stage one set to be completed by 2024.
