It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Broadmeadows.
The Broadmeadows Civic Plaza will be transformed into a festive extravaganza on Friday for the annual Christmas in the Plaza event.
Hume mayor Carly Moore said the event brought family and friends together for an evening of fun and entertainment.
“Christmas in the Plaza is an opportunity for families, friends and shoppers to experience a Christmas concert and festive atmosphere in the heart of Broadmeadows,” she said.
“The highlight of the evening will be the visit from Santa, who will be ready to listen to any Christmas wishes just a couple of weeks prior to his busy Christmas delivery.”
The event will include live music and roving entertainment, face-painting, Christmas crafts and a jumping castle.
Santa and his helpers will be available for photos throughout the evening.
It’s on from 4.30-8.30pm at 1093 Pascoe Vale Road.
