Motorcyclist dies following truck collision in Epping

A motorcyclist has died following a collision with a truck in Epping.

Emergency services were called to Produce Drive about 10.45pm on Tuesday following reports of a collision.

The male rider, who is yet to be formally identified, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. He later died in hospital.

The truck driver, a St Albans man, stopped at the scene and is currently assisting police with their enquiries.

Police said the circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined.

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or with dash cam footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
