New Hunky Dory store making waves at Pacific Epping

A new fish and chip store is taking Epping by storm.

Hunky Dory Fish and Chips has been making a buzz on social media, just three days after opening its first northern suburbs store at Pacific Epping on December 4.

More than 1100 people have commented on Hunky Dory’s Facebook post announcing the store had opened.

It is one of 11 Hunky Dory stores in Melbourne.

Hunky Dory founder Greg Robotis said the company had been looking at expanding, with most of the stores in the inner suburbs.

“It’s a great opportunity for us because we know that the community love Hunky’s, some travelling as far as Port Melbourne on weekends for a family outing, so it will be great to watch the northern suburbs embracing Hunky’s,” Mr Robotis said.

“We recently opened our first franchise store in Watergardens and it has exploded. Social media and emails have not stopped coming through since the opening in September so I am expecting the same type of reaction in Epping.”
