Bundoora regained its spot in the Northern Football League division 1 top five with a big win against Whittlesea on Saturday.
It was a low-scoring affair early on, before the Bulls broke the game open and were able to run away for a 13.17 (95)-6.7 (43) win.
Nicholas Grabowski, Gary Moorcroft and Andrew Carmusciano kicked three goals each for the Bulls.
The two Marshalls, Dale and Brent, were named the Bulls’ best.
For the Eagles, Chris Horman kicked two goals.
The win moves the Bulls back up to fifth, percentage ahead of Heidelberg.
The Eagles remain percentage behind Hurstbridge in the relegation battle.
In division 1, Thomastown put its foot down late to secure a comfortable win against Watsonia
The Bears led at every break, but it wasn’t until the last quarter the margin blew out.
The Bears, who won 15.10 (100)-5.11 (41), remain in fourth position.
Banyule proved too strong for Epping, winning 21.18 (144)-5.9 (39).
In division 3, Lalor almost pulled off an upset win against Mernda.
The Demons looked on track for an easy win at three-quarter time, before the Bloods kicked three goals to one in the final quarter.
The Demons had done enough, the final scoreline being 8.9 (57)-7.7 (49).
Liam Gray kicked three goals in the win.
The Demons remain in fourth, one game ahead of Laurimar, which defeated Kilmore 13.16 (94)-3.7 (25).
South Morang cemented its spot in the top four with a 14.19 (103)-9.8 (62) win against Heidelberg West.
