Search for missing Taylors Lakes business owner enters fifth day

The daughter of a missing Taylors Lakes business owner has made an emotional plea for help to find her mother.

Karen Ristevski, 47, who owns formal wear shop Bella Bleu at Watergardens, has been missing since last Wednesday.

Her daughter Sarah yesterday said she had reached out to her mother’s friends on Facebook but to no avail.

“There’s no leads at all, no sightings, nothing,” she said.

“I’ve logged onto her Facebook and contacted all of her friends. No one has seen her.”

Sarah said she was desperate for her mother to return home.

Ms Ristevski was last seen at her Oakley Drive home in Avondale Heights, about 10am on Wednesday.

Police are focusing their search on parkland near a walking track to the rear of the property where Ms Ristevski is known to walk regularly.

It has been reported Ms Ristevski went for a walk to “clear her head” after an argument with her husband.

Senior Constable Adam West said Ms Ristevski’s disappearance was out of character.

Her mobile phone is switched off and she has not used her debit card.

At the time Ms Ristevski went missing, she was wearing a black jacket and dark pants. She has shoulder-length dark hair, is about 160 centimetres tall and is of slim build.
