New car park for station

Commuters who struggle to find a park at the Williams Landing train station have received some welcome news – a new carpark with 800 spaces has opened nearby.

Ace Parking opened the site, which can be accessed from Kendall Street, on Thursday.

The new carpark is opposite an existing 450-space park, which is also run by Ace Parking. That car park, on Overton Road between Palmers Road and Kendall Street, was increased from 300 spaces to 450 spaces, earlier this year.

Ace Parking operations manager Harry Lazaridis said the business was continuing to address the increased demand for commuter parking in the Wyndham area.

“We are very pleased to announce the opening of an additional 800 spaces at Williams Landing station,” Mr Lazaridis said.

“This will provide an alternative to Tarneit station parking and provide a convenient alternative to other over-crowded station carparks.”

Parking rates at the Ace Parking Kendall Street carpark, which will be open 24 hours a day, start at $14 for a seven-day pass (valid for seven consecutive days), $12 for a five-day pass (valid for five consecutive days) or $3 a day for casual users, which will cover parking for 12 hours.

There are no vehicle height restrictions at the car park.
