Christmas fest

The Williamstown Christmas Festival is on December 8 from 5-9pm in Douglas Parade and Ferguson Street. Christmas stalls, face-painting, live entertainment, photos with Santa.

Carols in Altona

Carols by Candlelight, produced by members of Altona/Laverton Council of Churches, will be held at Altona’s Logan Reserve on December 10 from 7-9pm. The event will move to St Mary’s Catholic Church in Railway Street North in the event of inclement weather.

Zumba Saturdays

Zumba will be held on December 9 and 16 from 8-9am at Laverton Community Hub, 95-105 Railway Avenue, Laverton. All fitness levels and abilities welcome.

Hot rods

Resto’s and Rods Car Show, raising money for Variety, the Children’s Charity, is on December 10 from 10am-4pm at Seaworks in Williamstown. With prizes for best restoration, live music and dancing.

Line dancing

Would you like to get fit and have fun at the same time? Learn line-dancing to Chinese-themed music at Laverton Community Hub, 95-105 Railway Avenue, Laverton, on December 8 and 15 from 10.30am-12.45pm.

English lessons

Free English conversation classes are held every Monday from 1-3pm at Altona library. Volunteer Australian tutors and migrant learners. Inquiries:
