Garage sale for Uganda

A garage sale to raise funds for the women of Bwindi will be held on November 18 from 9am-3pm at 83 Elphin Street, Newport. Proceeds will help the women in drought-stricken Uganda buy seeds for next season’s crop. Anyone with goods to donate should contact:

Ladies Night

Women of the West host Ladies Night at the Dream Factory. Enjoy music by Dj Oily Shoes, a drink on arrival and three courses, cocktail style with a theme of Razzle Dazzle.
All profit will go towards the Footscray’s Women’s Health West. From 6.30pm Saturday, November 18 at 90 Maribyrnong Street, Footscray.

Stereo Stories

Stereo Stories featuring guest writers Andy Griffiths, Rijn Collins and Nick Gadd, all backed by The Stereo Stories Band returns to the Newport Fiddle and Folk Club on November 25 from 7.30-10pm. The venue is Newport Bowls Club. Tickets $15.
