Bundoora artist canvasses joy of the outdoors

Dawn Looper had to leave her cherished garden when she moved to a retirement village.

But the Bundoora artist still revels in being outdoors among flowers and trees, and capturing their beauty on canvas. The 69-year-old has been painting with oils and pastels for more than 30 years and is among the artists celebrated at the Seniority exhibition at Bundoora Homestead Art Centre.

The exhibition at 7-27 Snake Gully Drive, Bundoora, is open from 11am to 4pm from Wednesday to Friday, and noon to 5pm at weekends, until October 14. Details: 9496 1060.
