SPEEDSTERS will soon be clocked with mobile speed
cameras on the M80 ring road between Edgars Road, Thomastown and Plenty Road,
Bundoora.

patrol’s sergeant Simon Birrell said the speed cameras would
ensure a safe work site for contractors working on the road upgrade. “Lower
speed limits are necessary to slow traffic in areas where the roads may be
affected during the upgrading works,” he said.
