Youth aged 12 to 18 involved in sport at a state championship level can apply for local sporting champion grants of $500 for individuals and $3000 for teams.
McEwen MP Rob Mitchell (pictured) said the second round of grants for 2012-13 was open and he urged athletes and umpires to apply.
