BEING HUMAN Series Four

A SERIES about a vampire, a ghost and a werewolf all living together is tough to maintain. When vampire John Mitchell (Aidan Turner) left at the end of season three it really was the nail in the coffin.
Series four begins with Nina dying in a vampire attack while the gang tries to take care of baby Eve (a werewolf), who has attracted the attention of some vampire Overlords. When another original cast werewolf, George (Russell Tovey) dies, all that’s left of the old gang is ghost Annie (Lenora Crichlow).
With a new vampire, werewolf and Alex (another ghost) hanging around, you sense that it won’t be long before Annie is, well, killed off.
The story bounces between the present and a future where the world is run by evil vampires. While it’s still a great plot, I haven’t taken a shine to the new cast and was left feeling destroyed when Annie scrificed herself to save the world.
Still, chances are I’ll be back for series five.
