BRAVE northern suburbs teenager Shaun Miller’s dream has lived on and his “kick-ass” Luna Park party stands to raise $20,000 for HeartKids, a group that looks after children with heart conditions.
Comedienne and family friend Bev Killick said the party was part of the teenager’s bucket list after he learnt his second heart transplant was failing.
The 17-year-old announced the party two days before he died on May 26.
Ms Killick said 200 people attended the fund-raiser on June 15, raising more than $18,000. But donations continued to pour in through his website, taking the amount past $20,000.
Shaun made headlines internationally when his “final goodbye” YouTube clip to friends received more than 2.5 million hits.
