Holly Bartley (pictured) has travelled the world but has made a Bundoora mansion home for her art.
She is one of 34 Northern Metropolitan Institute of TAFE art students selected for an exhibition at the historic Bundoora Homestead.
The exhibition, which opened last Saturday, features artwork based on Yarra Bend Park, the Collingwood Children’s Farm and Abbotsford Convent.
“Some students produced botanical illustrations and some rendered landscapes, while others explored the architectural elements of the convent,” NMIT visual arts teacher Kirsten Perry said.
Ms Bartley, 28, of Woodend, said she rediscovered her love of art while spending six months travelling through South America after living in Canada and New Zealand.
