Bulk billing rates have hit a high in the McEwen electorate, according to local member Rob Mitchell.
Mr Mitchell said that locally 79 per cent of doctor services were bulked billed, slightly lower than the 81.3 per cent national figure for the March quarter.
“In McEwen, bulk billing services for pathology, diagnostic imaging, optometry and allied health were also at very high rates,” he said.
