LALOR’S Peter Lalor Walk will get new paving, seating, shelters, lighting, signs, bike racks and landscaping under a $250,000 state government grant.
Mayor Stevan Kozmevski said the commercial strip played a significant part in the day-to-day life of Lalor, and the improvements would boost the local economy.
“Lalor has been earmarked for development for some time and it’s great we can get the ball rolling with much-needed improvements for residents and visitors to the area to enjoy into the future.”
